O’Donovan hat-trick inspires Blaenau Ffestiniog Amateurs FC win

A HAT-TRICK from John O’Donovan led the way as Blaenau Ffestiniog Amateurs hit double figures to reach the semi-finals of the Teejac.com Gwynedd League’s Black Dragon Gwynedd Premier Cup.
The league leaders thumped Llanystumdwy 10-0 with Gareth Roberts and Kieron Ellis both scoring twice, while Ceri Roberts, Geraint Owen and an own goal completed Llanystumdwy’s miserable afternoon.
Blaenau led 3-0 at half-time and O’Donvan went on to complete his treble in a seven-goal second half avalanche, with the final three goals coming in the last eight minutes.
Blaenau Ffestiniog now play Bethel or Gaerwen in the semi-finals
